This playlist chronicles the dark stages throughout Sherlock’s life, relating to drugs, depression, loneliness and mental health. It delves into my view of his past a bit, so it’s a little headcanon/AU, but I think a lot of people believe that Sherlock had problems with drugs and mental health in his youth and leading up to when he met John.

Dia duit,
Tá brón orm nach bhfuil a fhios agam mo theanga dhúchais go han-mhaith, ach cheap mé go mbeadh mé iarracht seo …
Beidh mo scrúdú ealaíne ar siúl amárach, táim neirbhíseach …
Tá súil agam go mbeidh sé ar siúl ar fad go réidh.
Slán go fóill anois,
Saidhbh

How To Build Your Own Mind Palace

anotherboywholived:

I’ve been using a mind palace since my teens and never thought it odd until I saw tumblr’s reaction to Sherlock’s use of the technique. A couple days ago I found myself building an extension in order to cram for my philosophy exam the following day and I figured I’d use this as an example and get you all exploiting the genius of this method.

UPDATE 20/1/2014: I’m afraid I cannot accept requests for further help received due to real life constraints. Hopefully you will find your question has been already answered.

Word of the day

Meretricious - apparently attractive but having in reality no value or integrity. Plausible but false or incincere.

- Trivia: Sherlock quote -

Watson: Fantastic!

Sherlock: Meretricious.

Lestrade: And a Happy New Year.
